Froslass' replacement. Timid as Froslass is, she was overwhelmed by the competition and is now on holiday with Lilac's mother. Pitaya is what her mother sent in exchange for Froslass.

Pitaya refuses to follow orders if not addressed by her name. Lilac does not nickname her pokemon and often takes awhile to remember anyone's name, let alone a pokemon she never sees, so the start of their battles tends to be rocky. Pitaya will run around, flirt with other pokemon and just generally be a nuisance until Lilac addresses her properly. Pitaya is a romantic.

Banette's replacement. Banette was somewhat angry after Lilac lost her Round 4 match and vowed revenge on the trainers, the judges and the pokemon she lost to. News that Lilac would pass to Round 5 didn't change Banette's mind, so Lilac sent Banette to her father to rough-house with his large pokemon before she went and punched a judge in the face or something and got her disqualified. Her father sent back Acedia, the Houndoom unlucky enough to love sleeping and have the Early Bird ability rather than Flash Fire.

Will obey if called Houndoom instead of Acedia. Very loyal and obedient.
